I'm not sure if all this is part of "draining the swamp" - or maybe a ploy to identify blind All-American loyalists identifying as patriots - or maybe just another distraction to divert attention from the major league heist taking place beneath the surface - today's version of Bonnie and Clyde?
Are they simply trying to provoke angry massive demonstrations so they can have fun targeting people like ducks at a shooting gallery on April 5th, and call themselves defending the nation against all those terrorists?

The slanderous, degrading nature of this whole contingent goes off the rails when these fake officials try to cover their impotent incompetence by calling out the innocent whistleblower, Jeffrey Goldberg, who seems to have handled a very delicate situation in the most responsible way he could - finally forced to reveal the truth that nobody else would admit, referring to him with insulting terms deserving of a whopping lawsuit for slander and libel.
Whoever has true authority on this equation should fire the lot of them and send them packing - starting with the wannabe stand up comedy actor at the helm of this ship of fools.

And I know it's hard to believe that it could be worse, but the overwhelming question remains; what other Signal or WhatsApp conversations are ongoing that we just don't have an Atlantic reporter a part of? This is deliberate; they absolutely know this is wrong, but once the messages are deleted so is the evidence. And when the time for impeachment or prosecution arrives, they'll just shrug their shoulders and say, "prove it."
The other thing is now that this is international, mainstream news (at least I presume so), are we as naked to the world as I think we are? I live in a northwest inland coastal city where airplanes are made. Shall I presume that my city can expect an aerial attack at any moment? Because it would not surprise me in the least. No one can trust us. No one does. We will never know what hit us due to these idiots exposing our entire trove of secrets in a chat.
