For the rest, the IRS can impose stiff penalties of as high as 50 percent to 100 percent of the unpaid taxes. To that they can add interest at a painful rate. The IRS can attach assets such as bank accounts, wages, real estate, etc. As Trump and his minions would say, “make my day.”
