The "crime" of burning cities and massive slaughter of good white citizens by brown people is very different than the "crime" of stealing money and deporting unpopular citizens with no due process. The reasons boil down to one source: blind justice, imposed uniformly, is counter to human nature. That one source is the bedrock of Conservative philosophy: that human being are tragically flawed. The whole enterprise of the American Experiment was an Enlightenment rebuke of the primitive, tribal nature we inherited from the proto-chimps. Toppling that artificial structure turned out to be easier than we ever imagined, and required a mind so diseased that it didn't "know" what we thought we "knew". Trump is the Dark Visionary, trapped in the body and soul of a broken little boy.
The 'criminals' cannot and will not be 'arrested'. We've tied ourselves into knots with our suicide pact for a duopolistic republic that carries an unquestioned devotion to universal suffrage, just for starters.
