Stupidity is correct! Not surprising though, people like our current leader and his regime with all that money have probably NEVER thought about camping because in their minds only "low lifes" camp for a vacation. We do it because we love being out in nature with our pet dogs. And we've been doing it for years with our dogs, too many to even mention. We now have a camper we can sleep in and eat in which makes it more economical to camp than to rent a condo or stay in a fancy hotel. AND it's more like home. It's heartbreaking to think that we won't be able to camp in any National and/or State Parks this summer because of the "hiring freeze" they implemented all so they can make more money by stripping the parks of beauty because they want to make more money (tax cuts for billionaires).

I can hardly allow myself to think about the destruction of our wonderful National Parks, it makes me sad and angry. I live in Oklahoma and have traveled a lot of miles to visit many National Parks. This is so heartbreaking!

I too am a lifetime card holder and grew up near Yellowstone. We have tolerated "Tourons" for many years, but if things ever return to normal there MIGHT be more respect for wildlife, avoid littering, and mosrt importantly, treat our park employees (EVERYWHERE) with a mich higher degree of respect.

Gee, who wouldn’t want a Trump tower in the middle of Yosemite Valley!?

My dad was a park ranger at Yellowstone. He'd be spinning in his grave if he knew about this. Instead of making National Parks obsolete, we should make Billionaires Obsolete!

Trump and Musk and DOGE (every single one of them) have NO business anywhere near our national parks. All they care about is destroying anything in their path. And do NOT for one minute fall for their BS. They are focused on destroying everything they can and making sure that the billionaires can do whatever the hell they want, as Americans are stripped of everything that is America. Notice NOT one word from the DOGE criminals, and that is what they are Criminals, about how the billionaires are ripping off America to the tune of billions per year they do not pay in taxes.

The only potential positive is people might reflect on things we take for granted that we can lose. Maybe people will notice positive things our government does more clearly.

This is truly heartbreaking. I have many fond memories of my time at our Natural Forest. It is a shame they will drill, deforest, and not maintain the beauty. It would not surprise me if we see Trump Hotels scattered throughout. I am so ashamed of our Federal Government.

I am a proud card holder of a lifetime pass, which I paid for. Now what? I didn’t pay to have them desecrated, invaded, paved, drilled. I paid for the beautify, serenity, mangificient learning experiences that these treasures provide. They are truly a gift from each of us to each other. They are worth fighting for. Get on apps like 5 Calls and let your elected’s know their job is protecting these places, funding them thoughtfully and wisely.

Keep up the good work, L.S.!

So much damage the orange turd regime is inflicting on US and us. Deleting, minimizing, drilling, cutting these national, natural treasures is incomprehensible.

I’ve been to many, but certainly not all. The majesty and beauty is overwhelming.

I had wanted to visit more in my golden years. I’m afraid they won’t be here or that damage will be profound.

Future generations will be robbed of this fantastic part of the US. 😢
