These so-called "security officials" were making and deploying attacks on the Houthies without Trump being involved in it nor giving them permission for it. Not only did he not know about it, but he was never consulted about it. As I've said before the election, Trump is a figurehead. I said his minions would set him up in the executive dining room with a television and a bucket of KFC and slip executive orders in front of him to sign.
The people actually in charge of this administration are the authors of Project 2025 and Elon Musk. All of them are unelected. The recent Democratic win in the Pennsylvania state congressional race is an encouraging indicator. However, we need to make the upcoming races in Florida another win to wrest control of the House and slow the Republican roll. Democrats can then launch investigations into the "security officials" and other issues the Americans actually care about.

I fear the country is on a slippery slope to Hell, and there is little that can be done to prevent it! The Congress is complicit with its inaction and constant affirmation of what tRump is doing because it satisfies many longstanding goals of the GOP. There are Judges who will side with the administrations position because they “dance with the one that brought them.” Even so, the courts have little actual power to enforce their rulings when there is no intent to obey it if the GOP “leaders” disagree. It seems our only hope lays in the midterm elections which are almost 2 years away…. And that may be too late to save the people from the demons in charge!
Having spent years and I do mean years dealing with GAO where are they? They’re outside the Exec branch They’re 100% independent and completely reliable. Or National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA). I trust no one inside the Exec branch to have the independence needed. So if they want ground truth it must be outside Of course they go not want ground truth otherwise we would not be here.

If this is the case I think we NEED another to take the reins because "HE'S" as inept as the people he appointed!
